This preview session will cover the format of the Accreditation Exam; from the syllabus, to the recommended study resources, to a demo of the exam platform, and ending with a short sharing by past exam candidates.
The next run of the SID Accreditation Exam will commence in April 2026, with registrations opening in January 2026. The exam has a total of 100 questions divided into eight sections based on the eight competencies outlined in the Director Competency Model.
Candidates may attempt the exam at any time during the one-month window and are given up to two attempts to pass. The passing criteria is contingent upon the following conditions:
- A minimum score of 50% in each of the eight sections.
- An overall exam score of at least 70%.
