Creating Impactful Conversations
Dear Members,
As businesses grapple with the recent global developments leading to economic disruption, boards have to be prepared to navigate the evolving landscape. Directors must stay agile and forward-thinking to guide their organisations through disruptions.
With a focus on resilient leadership, SID, together with CFA Society Singapore and Singapore Fund Directors Association organised Beyond SG60: Propelling Singapore Forward as a Trusted Financial Hub (see below). The members-only event brought together industry leaders to explore Singapore’s evolving role in the global economy.
April also saw the launch of SGOOD 2.0, (Governance for Outstanding Organisation Directors) our flagship training programme for charities and nonprofit organisations. Developed in partnership with NCSS, the refreshed course will be part of GovernWell: Excellence in Charity Leadership. It aims to equip board members with the necessary governance tools to drive meaningful impact.

In partnership with ISTARI and NCS, and supported by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore, this initiative seeks to equip directors with essential insights and practical strategies to strengthen their organisations’ cyber posture. Stay tuned for future session dates.
