Today, many organisations have appointed sustainability executives and set their emission reduction goals towards a low carbon economy. However, such actions may not always effectively translate into real outcomes. Directors can play a more active role to operationalise sustainability, but how do they do so with clarity, scale and speed? Join us for this session, specially designed to provide directors and senior management with actionable insights to uncover possibilities, calibrate pertinent sustainability risks and opportunities, and highlight long-term business implications.

    b. Use case examples and share best practices.
    c. Self-reflect on your organisation’s model.

  3. Drive transition by investing in available renewables and carbon offset technologies to align with a low emissions pathway.
    a. Understand available technologies and set targets for renewable energy use.
    b. Consider investments in renewable energy technologies.
    c. Identify carbon offset projects and providers.

Stéphanie Groen
Partner, Low Carbon Economy Transition,
South and Southeast Asia
ERM

Ms Stéphanie Groen has over 20 years of professional experience in water, marine and environmental consultancy. She leads the development and growth of low carbon transition and climate change practices at ERM, and technical due diligence for clients across industries in the South and Southeast region. Ms Groen has also led more than 15 large scale marine infrastructure development projects related to land reclamation and port developments, and has worked closely with institutions such as the Singapore government and multilateral development banks, as well as design engineering firms, universities, and insurance companies. She holds the expertise to lend insights on material climate actions and environmental best practices to drive positive, lasting outcomes.



Seena Dabral
Associate Partner, Climate Change & Sustainability
South and Southeast Asia
ERM

Ms Seena Dabral is an Associate Partner, currently leading the corporate sustainability and climate change service line for ERM’s South and Southeast Asia business unit. She has more than 17 years of experience in environmental consulting, climate change advisory, environmental and social assessments, and internationally recognised frameworks. Ms Dabral works with clients to identify business opportunities in the transition to a low carbon economy, advance their sustainability performance, develop climate,  environmental, social and governance strategy, and improve disclosure and stakeholder engagement. Her project experience encompasses multiple areas including international financial institutions, the public and corporate sector.
