Listed below are the scenarios in which SID would rescind or suspend the accreditation status of a member.

Yes. Contingent on membership renewal and existing validity of the accreditation status.

Non-payment of Accreditation renewal fee

Yes. Contingent on payment and evidence of CPD fulfilment.

Non-fulfilment of CPD / PDC requirements

Yes. Contingent on fulfilling SID Accreditation Examination requirements and CPD fulfilment.

Director has not performed duties to expected standard and was negligent
|
Suspension of accredited status. Reinstatement is allowable after the suspension period and is contingent on fulfilling SID Accreditation Examination requirements.

Breach of SID Directors’ Code of Professional Conduct
|
These activities lead to automatic rescindment: Bankruptcy, fraud, convictions involving any jail term or a fine imposed of more than $2,000 or being placed on any SGX watchlist or blacklist.
What if the individual is undergoing criminal investigations?
- Accredited status may be suspended pending verdict.
Can the individual be reinstated? For example, if the individual is no longer a bankrupt?
- Reinstatement will be at the discretion of the Exco of the SID Governing Council.
