The programme is organised in two tiers. Participants can obtain an Executive Certificate in Directorship by completing the first three modules or continue to obtain an Executive Diploma in Directorship by completing all six assessable modules successfully. The modules can be taken non-sequentially, providing scheduling flexibility. Graduates from the Programme may be eligible to apply and join as SMU’s Associate Alumni.

John Chow
Chief Partnership Distribution Officer, Prudential Singapore
Mr John Chow oversees the partnership distribution business of Prudential Singapore, particularly its strategic partnerships with UOB, SCB and International Brokers. Prior to joining Prudential Singapore, he spent five years with Manulife, where he held various roles in regional partnerships, including leading performance management for the insurer’s regional DBS partnership. In his most recent role, Mr Chow was based in Kuala Lumpur as Chief Partnership Officer of Manulife Insurance and Manulife Labuan International. He was responsible for Manulife Insurance’s exclusive bancassurance partnership with Alliance Bank. Before that, he was with OCBC Bank for four years. As Head of Bancassurance, he developed and executed strategies to grow the bancassurance business of OCBC and Great Eastern Life in Singapore.
