Reza Behnam, MSID
Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Digital Direction

Mr Reza Behnam has a track record in venture building and scaling across both startups and large enterprises. A 30-year veteran in business and innovation, he entered the APAC region 17 years ago, when he led Yahoo!’s original expansion into Southeast Asia, launching products and services in six countries and crafting the foundational investment plan for the region. He transitioned into a venture partner role at IDG Ventures before founding, launching and exiting some of his own startups: adzcentral and CtrlShift. He is CEO and founder of Digital Direction. In 2019, he was appointed CEO and director of Taskworld.

Juliet Zhu
Board Member and Adviser, Carsome

As a board member, adviser to the CEO and former group president and CFO, Ms Juliet Zhu has been instrumental in Carsome’s rise as Southeast Asia’s largest car e-commerce platform. She drives corporate development and strategic growth. With a strong background in finance and technology, she has helped the scale the business, manage multiple rounds of fundraising from venture capital and private equity backers, and executed mergers and acquisitions. She is a valuable team player and works closely with boards and management to navigate hypergrowth and disruption.

 



Joe Dische
Chief Financial Officer, PropertyGuru Group

Mr Joe Dische was appointed Chief Financial Officer of PropertyGuru in 2018. He is responsible for finance, strategy and corporate functions across five markets in Southeast Asia. He developed the company’s governance framework and successfully led fundraising and merger-and-acquisition activities that led to the group’s listing on the New York Stock Exchange in 2022. Mr Dische was CFO of iCar Asia (listed on the Australian Stock Exchange) and has worked for Vodafone Hutchison Australia and KPMG in London.

 



James Perry
Managing Director, Global Markets Singapore, Citigroup

Mr James Perry is co-head of Asia Pacific Technology & Communications Investment Banking for Citigroup. After joining Citigroup in New York in 1997, he rejoined in Singapore at the end of 2020 from a tech start-up where he was CFO. Mr Perry has helped tech companies raise over $160 billion, including proceeds from 40 IPOs, and advised on over $100 billion in mergers and acquisitions. He has worked in Palo Alto, California and Hong Kong, having graduated from Pennsylvania State University where he received degrees in Finance, International Business and French.
