MFG 4 - Financial Code of Governance for NPO (C)
A large portion of the Code of Governance issued by the Charity Council is dedicated to financial management and internal controls, and fundraising. The fourth session of the Money for Good Series will cover practical examples of operational controls, budget planning and monitoring, capital asset management and reserves management practices.
Course Objectives
- Understand regulatory guidelines detailed in Principles of Financial Management and Internal Controls detailed in Section 6 of the Code of Governance for Charities and Institutions of a Public Character.
- Gain insights on how a charity can strengthen its operational controls, budget planning and monitoring process, capital asset management and reserves management practices.
