MCD 2 - NRC Masterclass: What’s Unsaid, Unwritten and Uncomfortable

The SID Nominating and Remuneration Committee (NRC) Masterclass is a four-hour, high-impact, closed-door forum exclusively for board members serving on nominating and remuneration committees, and professionals who work on governance issues related to the evolving responsibilities of NRCs. Speakers from SID’s NRCC and professional partners will share insights on succession planning, board and executive remuneration, and global best practices. Using case studies, attendees will be guided to explore practical scenarios on succession, remuneration and the role of the NRC.

Key topics include:

  • Board composition: Appointing independent directors for diverse and effective boards.
  • Board evaluation: Board performance as a catalyst for change.
  • CEO remuneration: Balancing short-term and long-term impact.
  • Succession planning: Going beyond compliance.

Beyond knowledge, the session offers entry into an “inner circle” of board leaders, committed to strengthening governance culture and excellence.
