Roundtable Synopsis
Artificial intelligence, geopolitical instability and sustained economic uncertainty are reshaping the human capital agenda and placing new demands on boards. Workforce models, skills requirements, talent strategies and leadership pipelines are all being disrupted, while broader geopolitical developments continue to affect supply chains, business continuity and enterprise risk.
In this virtual roundtable, held in association with Criticaleye, we will explore how boards can provide effective oversight of human capital in a more complex and uncertain operating environment. How can Chairs and NEDs challenge management on workforce readiness, skills resilience and leadership depth, while ensuring the organisation remains agile, resilient and capable of execution?
Areas to discuss include:
- How AI is changing workforce models, skills needs and organisational capability.
- The board’s role in overseeing talent strategy, succession planning and leadership pipeline resilience.
- How geopolitical uncertainty is affecting human capital, supply chains, business continuity and enterprise risk.
- Where people risks intersect with wider business and strategic risks.
- The key questions boards should be asking management on workforce readiness, future capability and long-term resilience.
Participants are encouraged to raise questions and participate actively in the discussion.
