Membership

Individuals may apply to join as either Ordinary or Associate Member. Commercial or NonProfit Organisations may apply to join as Corporate Member. You can find the criteria of each type of membership here.

An applicant should not be:

• Prohibited under the Companies Act, Cap.50 from acting as a director; or
• Declared as undischarged bankrupt whether in Singapore or elsewhere; or
• Deemed to be insolvent within the meaning of applicable legislation in Singapore; or
• In the opinion of the Governing Council, not a fit and proper person to be admitted as an SID member.

After registration, your application to be a member will be reviewed by SID’s Governing Council. You will be informed once your application has been approved. The whole process will take approximately 2 to 5 weeks.
