MCD2 -Creating Value at Board-Level – Markets vs Stock Value
Value creation is often linked to stock market value – which is a misconception. Often, the best way to create value is to allow the stock price to drop. In fact, the need to increase the stock price may result in destruction of value. Led by Professor Massimo Massa from INSEAD, this session will lay out a framework that allows board directors to understand value creation and the limitations of the stock market. Understanding the markets through concepts of behavioural finance will help directors to uncover the linkage between value creation and the markets.
