LED 8 - Remuneration Committee Essentials
In accordance to the Code, companies must disclose information about executive remuneration and non-executive director fees. It is also pertinent to establish appropriate remuneration levels, determining performance measures and setting performance targets in order to defend pay decisions and outcomes to a wide range of stakeholders.

This elective module is relevant for directors appointed to the Remuneration Committee (RC). It will provide participants with an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the Remuneration Committee and equip RC chairs and members with the key principles and frameworks to make responsible board and executive remuneration decisions.

There will also be a review on the approaches towards setting non-executive director fees, and executive compensation levels, including design elements related to incentive and equity plans and examine the linkages between executive pay and talent management.
