LED 1 - Listed Entity Director Essentials
Listed entities are subject to a wider range of compliance requirements following the latest amendments to the Companies Act, SGX Listing Rules and Code of Corporate Governance. This first module in the Listed Entity Director (LED) Programme guides participants on the general compliance requirements faced by companies and their boards. It sets out the personal obligations of directors and provides clarity on how compliance and governance requirements apply to the individual director and the board collectively.

Course Objectives
  1. Highlight the legal and regulatory duties and responsibilities of directors in Singapore listed entities.
  2. Explain the continuing obligations applicable to listed companies in Singapore, from the perspective of the board and individual director.
  3. Discuss compliance and governance requirements of the Code of Corporate Governance, including establishing board committees.
