Data is the new fuel of the digital economy. Corporates are embracing this digital age with disruptive technologies, leveraging on the Internet-of-Things and cloud solutions, to create new business solutions, such as Proptech, Fintech, Constructech, Healthtech and LogTech. Data in digital form courses through every aspect of operations in corporates, whether in documentation, emails, databases, websites.
A common thread across all these initiatives and activities is the need to collect and comprehend vast amounts of data. Digital data poses significant risks for the organisations which possess them, including accidental disclosure, cybertheft, ransomware attack and phishing.
