Mr Ferdinand de Bakker is chairman of Cognac Grosperrin in France. He is managing director of La Croisette, a consulting firm, and teaches communication at NTU’s Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information. He serves on boards or committees of various non-profits, including Alzheimer's Disease Association, Ding Yi, and Passerelles Numériques. He had a two decades-long career at the public relations firm Burson-Marsteller as country manager and later European and Asia-Pacific CEO. During that time, he also served as an independent director at various European companies. He writes for publications on education, communication and lifestyle matters in Europe and Asia.
