SGA 4 - Cyber Security and Data Privacy for NPOs (C)

SGA 4 - Cyber Security and Data Privacy for NPOs (C)
With the enactment of the Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) in 2012, nonprofit organisations (NPOs) handling personal and financial data of donors and beneficiaries need to understand the legal way to collect, use and disclose personal data for legitimate and reasonable purposes. The growth of the digital economy exposes organisations to an increased level of cyber risk. This course explores data privacy issues, best practices in compliance with the PDPA, and how NPO directors can ensure their organisations are cyber resilient. Facilitated by experts in the field of cyber security and data protection, participants will learn how online threats can potentially cripple the operations of their organisations.
