ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard Briefing
As Singapore continues to trail behind its ASEAN counterparts (Thailand and Malaysia, in particular) in disclosures, what can boards do to boost their corporate governance standing in the region? Implementing best practices in corporate governance can help businesses navigate their way to recovery in a post-pandemic world, where political and economy uncertainty have exposed structural and systemic weaknesses. In this session organised by SID and NUS’s Centre for Governance and Sustainability, the domestic ranking bodies for Singapore in the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard, participants gain insights into areas where Singapore companies can improve their scores.
