Listed entities are subject to a wider range of compliance requirements following the latest amendments to the Companies Act, SGX-ST Listing Manual and Code of Corporate Governance.
This core module provides guidance to directors in understanding the compliance requirement and how it applies to the individual director and the board collectively.
Participants will acquire an essential understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a Listed Entity Director through learning the basics of corporate governance, board structure comprising the different director types and their respective roles, and how a board should function. They will also learn the legal and regulatory landscape cum framework governing boards and directors including compliance with obligations applicable to entities listed on the Singapore Exchange, the Companies Act and the Code of Corporate Governance.
