Mr Tan is the Executive Vice President of MEAG Pacific Star Asset Management responsible for building up the company. MEAG which is the Munich Ergo Asset Management Gmbh, is Munich Reinsurance asset management arm with more than Euro 200 billion of assets under management.

He has many years of global and diversified experience and track record across Asia, Australia and Europe in real estate investment, asset management, business development and fund management. To-date, he has invested and managed multi-billion portfolios ranging from listed and unlisted companies, REITs, funds, strategic alliances to direct assets. He also held directorships on several companies.

He was formerly Vice President of the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) real estate arm. A Singapore Government scholar, he is also a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID), GIC Alumni, Asia Pacific Real Estate Association (APREA) and sits on the Board of APREA and SID.
