The next 2 individual workshops in the series on Nominating Committees (NC) and Remuneration Committees (RC) will be held on 1 July 09 and 3 July 09 respectively.

The workshops are jointly organized by the Institute together with the Singapore Exchange Ltd (SGX) and Aon Consulting.

They aim to help Board members appreciate and understand the application of the Code of Corporate Governance to focus subject of each workshop, from a practical perspective. They also provide an appreciation of challenges faced by these Board committees on the subject.

The Institute and KhattarWong are jointly organizing a half-day seminar on "Corporate Governance Best Practices in Singapore with insights on practices & trends in China" at the Marina Mandarin Hotel.

The aim of this seminar is to help directors understand governance principles and issues in Singapore, with emphasis also on key issues in China. This will of course equip the director to promote effective governance of its board and better manage its risks with its overseas partners.
