Mrs Fang is the Chairman of Great Eastern Holdings Ltd and its insurance subsidiaries in Singapore and Malaysia. She is a Director of Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Ltd, Singapore Telecommunications Ltd, Banyan Tree Holdings Ltd, Metro Holdings Ltd and MediaCorp Pte Ltd. She also sits on the Board of International Enterprise Singapore and the Governing Board of Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School. She served a term as a Nominated Member of Parliament and was conferred the Public Service Medal in 2001, and the Public Service Star in 2009.
