As a body promoting excellence in corporate governance practices, SID is committed to practising the highest standards of good governance.
Toward this end, a SID Code of Governance was developed in 2013 to recognise its unique nature as a nonprofit organisation focused on corporate governance practices of commercial companies (listed and private) as well as that of nonprofit organisations.
SID also has a Directors' Code of Professional Conduct which incorporates the values adopted by the Institute. The Directors' Code of Professional Conduct has been published to ensure that all directors are committed to achieving the highest level of professionalism and integrity in the discharge of their office.
