SYN - So, You Want to be a NonProfit Director +
This course is organized in collaboration with the Centre for NonProfit Leadership. It covers what it means to be on the board of an NPO. Directors of nonprofit organisations face challenges such as fundraising and the duality of their governance and volunteer roles, in addition to those of regular directorships.
The course will provide an introduction to the directorship landscape in Singapore; the duties, liabilities and benefits of directorship in NPOs, and the key considerations for joining a nonprofit board.
