ASEAN CORPORATE GOVERNANCE SCORECARD

ASEAN CORPORATE GOVERNANCE SCORECARD
BRIEFING ON NEW METHODOLOGY

Launched in 2011, the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (Scorecard) which assesses the Corporate Governance practices and disclosures of the top 100 listed companies by market capitalisation in 6 Asean countries is an initiative of the ASEAN Capital Market Forum and is supported by the Asian Development Bank.

This briefing session which is organised by Singapore Institute of Directors (SID) and the Centre for Governance, Institutions and Organisations (CGIO) in collaboration with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and Singapore Exchange (SGX), is intended to provide you with an update on the changes that have been made to the new assessment template, including new questions and weightages and the introduction of an independent validation on key CG practices in order to increase the robustness of the overall assessment process.

Mr John Lim, SID’s immediate past chairman, and Professor Lawrence Loh of Centre for Governance, Institutions and Organisations, NUS Business School (CGIO) will highlight the changes and provide insights on areas where Singapore listed companies can improve their scores, and to be ranked among the top publicly listed companies across ASEAN in the coming year(s).

(This briefing session is complimentary for directors, c-suites & senior management of Singapore listed companies)
